Akustikon started 1984 as a consulting company
specialising in acoustics, vibration and AV engineering. Since of 2009 Akustikon is a part of Norconsult AB. Still most of our assignments are prestigeous
consert halls and theatres, however, we offer consulting in the entire field of acoustics.
At Akustikon, we use our ears. We listen
to our clients so as to understand as efficiently and clearly as
possible the problems that need to be solved. We also use our ears to
assess acoustics and acoustical problems - rather than simply relying
on measurements and calculations.
Our expertise and working methods have brought much success to our
customers and ourselves. Since Akustikon was founded in 1984, we have
amassed a long list of references. We are proud to have projects such
as the Reykjavik City Theatre and the Gothenburg Opera
(GöteborgsOperan) on our list of references. However, we are also
quick to mention our smaller projects, because at Akustikon, we have
our feet firmly on the ground.

NEW CONCERT AND CONFERENCE BUILDING IN MALMÖ
Akustikon won the competition for a new concert hall, conference hall and hotel together teamed up with Skanska and schmidt/hammer/lassen architects
CCC KARLSTAD, NEW CONCERT HALL
Akustikon is planning the new concert-and congress building in Karlstad. Concert hall seats 1600.
REZEKNE LATVIA, NEW MULTIPURPOSE CONCERT HALL
Akustikon is planning the new building in Rezekne, Latvia. The Concert hall seats 1000 and has a capacity
for a atanding audience of 3000.

SMÅLANDS MUSIK OCH TEATER
Akustikon designs the acoustics and AV engineering for Wingårdhs arkitektkontor.
The project contains a new 850 seat concert hall and a 350 seat theater.
BBC LONDON & MANCHESTER
Akustikon have been doing various studies on Concert Studios for BBC orchestras, in coorporation with Gade & Mortensen Akustik A/S

AKUSTIKON IN THE NORCONSULT GROUP
Since the start of 2009 Akustikon has been a part of the Norconsult group. The change has meant Akustikon moved into a larger office and are now surrounded by a plethora of creative people.
